Here is some video I shot while walking around town looking at homes for sale.  Sorry the quality isn't great.  It's hard to get good footage while walking. The home at 408 5th Ave N is the one I liked the most.  I also noticed that my video of the home 3 doors down from us wan't very good.  I'll try to get better footage in the next day or two.

BTW, Diane is getting house envy now after looking at some of these properties :-)

While many hunters across Wisconsin approved suspending the 2009 anterless deer hunt, the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) did not suspend the hunt which began yesterday and continues through Sunday.  Last week, a letter was sent to the DNR  board members requesting that the Department consider suspending the anterless hunt. A scheduled DNR public hearing where the matter was to be discussed was canceled Tuesday night due to the inclement weather.

With the start of Wisconsin’s gun hunting season this weekend, I know that many of my constituents throughout La Crosse, Vernon, Crawford, Monroe and Richland Counties will be scouring the woods, hoping to tag that big buck.  To highlight Wisconsin’s’ hunting tradition, I encourage all of you hunters to send me pictures of your big buck to be featured on my web site – and the winner will be awarded with a Wisconsin Blue Book!
