Obama

BHO: "I destroyed the environment in order to save it."

George W. Bush once said of the economy, "I destroyed the free market in order to save it." Not true, as we did not have a true free market, and he did not save the elements of freedom still in it. And no, "The Annointed One" did not say the above quote, but perhaps could some day. Hopefully he will not destroy the environment in order to put forward his misguided attempts to save it.

Some strange coincidences and pertinent questions:

* Goldman Sachs dumps 4.68 million shares of BP; and
BP CEO dumps 1.4 million shares in the weeks before the spill. Why?

*The Jones act prohibits foreign ships from carrying oil in US waters. Therefore it is illegal for skimming ships, and oil tankers flagged by other nations that might be free, to come to US waters to contain the spill. WHY was not a waiver passed on this immediately? Was it more important to save union jobs than contain the spill?

Democrat's Economic Policy Failure

Democrats suffered another failure today when Chrysler filed for bankruptcy.  After Obama, Kind, and all the other liberals in Washington promised us that our federal tax dollars would help save the auto industry all I can say is, "I told you so."

I told you Obama was wrong when he said that government was the only way to fix our economy: here.

Is it Bob Obama or Barack Dylan?

"The answer, my friend, is blowing in the wind..." So sings Bob Dylan in days gone by.

What would you do with $1 million?

I was reading the news about the president's plan to spend $634 billion on government run healthcare and it reminded me of the $787 billion the Congress gave him to “stimulate” the economy a few days ago. That is so much money that it's difficult to comprehend so let's think about this together.

Have you ever played the “what would you do with a million dollars” game? It's where you fantasize about what you would do with that kind of money if you were to win the lottery.
