Beware Voter Fraud, Emergency Rules?

Funny in South Carolina Democrats cried foul, that the polls were tampered with, in order that Mr. Greene might win. I am not sure if there is any validity to that, but I think Republicans, third party members and independents should sieze the opportunity to call for clean and fair elections. In South Carolina, they have many tough screen voting machines with no paper backup, and has been demonstrated numerous times, these voting machines can easily be hacked by knowledgeable people to yield a desired result. Maybe they should get rid of the current, easily hackable equipment, and replace it with equipment that at the least has a paper back up that can be referred to if there are problems.

Mike Huebsch asks: Why Don't State Elections Officials Want to Know Who You Are?

Wisconsin has an Office of Privacy Protection, regulators who investigate and publicize identity theft scams and pages of statutes designed to protect your personal information, finances and privacy.

But state government won’t go out of its way to protect your vote. And it won’t let you either.

Ten Wisconsin women formed the group We’re Watching Wisconsin Elections Campaign and lobbied local clerks and the Government Accountability Board (GAB) to check the photo IDs of voters who volunteer to show them.

One Vote. One Person.

It's sad that fewer and fewer people understand the correlation between rights and responsibility. While we have the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness, as Americans, we have a duty to exercise those rights with responsibility. One such right that comes with a great amount of responsibility is the right to vote.

In a perfect world, there would be no need to worry about whether a particular election was "fair" or not. There would be no need to worry whether a person or group of people voted only once or multiple times.

As we know all too well, we live in an imperfect world, an imperfect country, an imperfect state, and an imperfect community.
