It's Time for a New Direction: Conservatism

It's Time to Go

I do not understand how anyone can support Obama any longer. How much proof do Americans need to penetrate the fantasy land bubble that indoctrination has created?

We were told Obama would bring unemployment down. Failure.

We were told Obama would bring a 'post-partisan attitude to Washington.' Failure.

We were told Obama would improve our image around the globe. Failure.

We were told Obama would reduce our debt. Failure.

Tommy or Tammy?

Seldom has a Wisconsin voter faced starker choices than in this year’s November election. In both presidential and governor’s races we are choosing between pairs of candidates with nearly opposite political views and voting records.

Some of us may have backed other candidates in the primaries. But make no mistake, if voters who align with the Tea Party wish to see major changes accomplished that we have fought so hard for, such as eliminating federal deficits and returning to constitutional government, we cannot let differences in specific objectives and governance styles stand between us and our ultimate goals.

Social conservatives need to remind themselves that a minimum of two US Supreme Court appointments will be made by whichever candidate wins the presidency. Do we really think a second-term Barack Obama will appoint justices who agree with our positions?

Ignorance is Bliss and Other Debate Observations

After watching the town hall presidential debate I began to wonder just how many voters in America are still ignorant enough to vote for President Obama again. Anyone who watched the town hall-style debate witnessed the President of the United States lie directly to the American people when he told us that on the day after the murder of our ambassador to Libya he was calling the event a terrorist act. If ignorance truly is bliss then count me among the miserable souls in the country who have been paying attention to the facts surrounding this foreign policy disaster and, as such, I know that the President lied to me and all of America with that statement. He and his administration spent several days trying to convince the world that the events in Libya were 'a spontaneous reaction to a YouTube video' and now he has the gall to tell us he was calling it a terrorist attack all along? Just how stupid does he think we are?
