Mayor,
I am requesting that you do the job we elected you to do (like you have been so far) and defend our city from the actions of this small hysterical mob. This sign ordinance is a destructive mess of arbitrary and abstract ideas.

The sizes/heights/distances for example were just thrown in and amended arbitrarily, from 40' to 20' to 14'. Distances from 350' to 1200' just on a whim and comments by hysterical NON-residents...

This City Council is out of control! Our elected officials' duty is to protect us from mobs trying to impose their ideals on us, not to HELP them.

The business community is prepared to petition for a referendum to throw out this sign ordinance, so I'm sure you want to be on record as vetoing it.
