Chris Muller writes: Another Bribe for Votes

Will voters be bribed into voting for Ron Kind again?  These are your tax dollars folks.  Ron isn't giving out this money from his personal bank account so you can't call it generosity.  This is classic incumbent bribing voters for re-election tactics.

WASHINGTON, DC – U.S. Rep. Ron Kind (D-WI) today announced that the Town of Dewhurst has received a $66,000 Rural Development Community Facility grant administered through the United States Department of Agriculture.

“I am pleased towns across western Wisconsin are receiving federal funds for improvement projects and equipment,” said Rep. Kind. “This funding will help ensure the Town of Dewhurst has the equipment it needs to take care of the community it serves.”

The Township of Dewhurst will use the grant to purchase a new maintenance vehicle. The current truck, has been experiencing numerous breakdowns and high maintenance needs. The new truck will include a snowplow with wing and sander attachments, and will be used for snow removal in the winter and general street maintenance work in the summer.
