I want to be among the first to congratulate Gov. Scott Walker on his historic win. He took on a tough battle and the people of our state overwhelmingly put their stamp of approval on the reforms he spearheaded.

I know you're energized in the face of this recall, and I know you'll carry on that energy to the election in November. But there's one recall we must not forget: the successful recall of Senator Dan Kapanke last August.

Dan was defeated when the other side had all the momentum, but now that momentum is reversed. In November we have a chance to undo that injustice. With your help, we can make Jennifer Shilling a one-third term State Senator.

Shilling is one of just two Democrats to triumph in last year's State Senate recalls, and this year, she's gone double-or-nothing, putting all her chips in for more of the same. By hitching her wagon to endless recalls, Shilling has shown us she'd rather conquer control of the Senate in recalls than to legitimately win elections.
