Ever since Obamacare was floated as an idea Coulee Conservatives have been warning people about it. Any time the government seizes authority and control over something as complex as the health care of 300 million citizens you can pretty much bet with 100% certainty that it will be bad for individual liberty and will not accomplish anything positive.

One of the questions I asked my liberal friends from the very beginning was, "Do you really want a health care system that requires you to lobby a politician in order to get medical procedures approved?"  In other words, is it a good idea to politicize our health care by passing something like Obamacare that forces businesses to either apply for waivers (beg the federal government for mercy) or go out of business?

Coulee Conservatives have been right all along.  Obamacare was never about fixing health care.  It was always about forcing Americans onto their knees to beg the powers that be for waivers.  Obama/Reid/Pelosi/Kind have gotten exactly what they wanted: The power to control our health care and thereby force us to beg for their mercy. 

If Obamacare stands then it won't be long before their incremental strategy eventually leads to forcing us to eat only what they approve and exercise when they decide we should.  Now that they control our health care they will eventually force us into different eating and exercise behaviors in return for the health care we will eventually need.  That was the path they chose to travel when they passed Obamacare.  Whether they did this willingly or by accident doesn't matter.  Most of them are probably just ignorant lemmings following their messiah and simply doing what they are told.  Whatever the reason, they did it against the will of the people.

Want a colonoscopy?  Not until you quit eating at McDonald's.  Want your kids tested for meningitis?  Not until they join a 'community exercise program' and work out 20-minutes a day under the supervision of one of our 'trained community organizers.'

The day is coming when that will become a reality IF we do not repeal this monstrosity NOW.  We are Americans.  It was our love of liberty and individuality and our hatred of tyranny that led to the Declaration of Independence and the US Constitution.  We must fight against this modern tyranny by repealing Obamacare.  Now is the time to write open letters to your congressmen (be sure to copy the local papers and send me a copy so I can post it here and let everyone share your wisdom). The last election was a huge victory for common sense conservative ideas.  Let's take the next step and demand action.
