WHY IT MAKES NO SENSE TO SUPPORT SCHILLING
As far back as 2005 under then Governor Doyle, Jennifer Schilling has been an enemy of the Second Amendment and all the freedoms it stands for. She sided with then Governor Doyle in his veto of the concealed carry bill that was advanced not once but twice to his office only to be vetoed by him. It is obvious to the observer that she runs with the liberal antigun crowd that believes Wisconsin citizens don’t have the basic right to self-defense. Perhaps she should read the Second Amendment to the United States Constitution and try to understand it. Probably a waste of time…
With the current budget crisis, she has found a home for her misplaced anger. Now she sides with the civil unions that receive funds from Wisconsin Tax Payers and then shuffle them off to the Democratic Headquarters for dissemination to the political candidates of their choice. She is a representative of her own agenda and not the wishes of the 3rd District Constituents. Her energy will be directed to maintaining the civil union environment where the employee who shows drive and desire will be replaced by one who only has "time served”.
She referred to the passed concealed legislation as “insane” from the WXOW news item I found. So now I am to assume that any Wisconsinite who doesn’t subscribe to her agenda and its ends is nuts? There seems to be a great number of people in this state that believe in the Second Amendment and I find it hard to believe they are all crazy. Maybe she should get off the union bus and talk to people in the District.
Dan Kapanke was a supporter of the concealed carry bill and he should be respected for that. Ms. Schilling’s loss of her parents in Illinois is a tragic thing. The whole event could have been stopped by one (1) concealed carry person with the training to resolve the situation.
Wisconsin now has a balanced budget in accordance with its constitution. Hard choices had to be made and they were. What about the Democratic Senators that ran away from their jobs to hide in Illinois? Maybe Jennifer should move to Illinois where she would feel more welcome.
Any citizen who believes in the Second Amendment can’t in a clear conscious, vote for Ms. Schilling.
