Over the past few years, we have seen countless examples of the Biden administration targeting Americans with conservative beliefs.

From tracking anyone who traveled to the D.C. area on January 6, 2021, to labeling concerned parents as domestic terrorists, and even flagging anyone who purchased a bible or shopped at Cabela’s as a potential “Homegrown Violent Extremist” (more on that later).

Assembly Committee Passes Parents' Bill of Rights

Earlier this week, the Assembly Family Law committee voted in favor of a Parents’ Bill of Rights proposal with a 6-3 vote. Assembly Bill 510 enumerates 16 rights parents have related to their children, including the right to determine which pronouns a school uses when referencing their child and the right to determine the religion of the child. Importantly, the bill also recognizes that parents have other inalienable rights that aren’t enumerated.

I have voted for two Continuing Resolutions in the past four months, and we have seen no progress in passing Fiscal Year 2024 (FY24) funding or addressing our nation’s top issues. We have a historic crisis and national security threat at our southern border, billions in wasteful government spending, and still no strategic plan for the war in Ukraine. The CR brought to the House floor today did nothing to resolve these problems and only would have continued to kick the can down the road of budgeting by crisis.

Parental Bill of Rights

Assembly Republicans voted yes on the fundamental right of parents to direct the upbringing, education, health care, and mental health of their children. The legislation makes it clear what rights parents have and what expectations school boards and school districts are required to meet. Look Deeper at 14th Amendment – And Soon!

I recently read a commentary titled “The 14th Amendment Effort to Stop Trump” written by Hans von Spakovsky in the January issue of NEWSMAX Magazine. The introductory paragraph shared what we all know; that activists allied with the Democratic Party, other never-Trumpers, and I believe the media, are mounting a vicious war to bar the former president from being a presidential candidate.

The second paragraph gives the punch line “Their claims under the 14th Amendment, however, are invalid.”

WI Courts Rule In Election Integrity Cases

Wisconsin Institute for Law and Liberty (WILL) won a lawsuit against the City Clerk of Racine and Wisconsin Elections Commission, securing election integrity in the process. The Racine County Circuit Court declared the City’s use of a mobile voting van at particular sites illegal under state law. Specifically, the Court found that the mobile voting sites gave a partisan advantage to one political party over others and that state law did not allow the use of a van as an absentee voting site.

This week, I attended the Capitol Hill screening of the Epoch Times documentary "The Real Story of Jan. 6 Part 2: The Long Road Home."

There are so many questions that haven't been asked, much less answered, about that day. I appreciate journalists like the Epoch Times who are utilizing our First Amendment rights of freedom of the press and freedom of speech to expose and tell the American people the truth.

I implore all Americans to try and find out the truth and discern it.

Running for the La Crosse County District 20 Seat

After much prayer and council with friends and family I made the decision to throw my hat in the political ring for the La Crosse County Board of Supervisors.

Since announcing my run for County Board I have been humbled by the outpouring of support from my family and friends. I am so blessed to have all of you in my life and I cannot thank you enough for your council, your prayers, and your donations!
