Celebrating Our State Parks

While the weather can’t decide if it’s winter or spring, we know that summer will be here soon! This summer, I am again looking forward to visiting some of our beautiful Wisconsin state parks. I am especially looking forward to this year because it is the 125th Anniversary of the State Park System! I recently met with newly appointed Department of Natural Resources Secretary-designee Karen Hyun. We had a productive meeting and discussed at length our fantastic state park system and how lucky we are that southwestern Wisconsin is home to some of the best!

It's a Spending Problem

As a member of the U.S. Senate Committee on Finance, I met with President Trump last week and we discussed my plan to get spending back to pre-pandemic levels – saving a minimum of $700 billion.

There is so much room for reducing the size of the federal government and balancing the budget is entirely doable. I look forward to working with the White House and getting spending under control.

Thank you to Kevin O'Leary for highlighting my chart on Fox Business. This is an eminently reasonable approach to returning to a pre-pandemic level of spending.

Years of Work Fighting Fentanyl

The Halt All Lethal Trafficking of Fentanyl (HALT) Act passed the Senate recently with an overwhelmingly bipartisan vote of 84-16.

The HALT Fentanyl Act incorporates the permanent scheduling of fentanyl-related substances, which I first introduced in 2017 in the Stopping Overdoses of Fentanyl Analogues Act (SOFA). It ensures law enforcement has the tools they need to stop fentanyl's flow into our country.

When they found cocaine in the Biden White House, the corporate media said nothing.

When they burned down cities (G. Floyd), the corporate media said nothing.

When Normals were required to wear masks, but not "peaceful" protesters, the corporate media said nothing.

When it was shown that children could withstand Covid and were STILL shut out of their schools by tyrants like Governor Tony Evers, the corporate media said nothing.

When district judges overstep their authority, the corporate media say nothing.
