Watertown School Board Stands Up Against Indoctrination
Last week, the Watertown, Wisconsin school board voted to remove a controversial pro-LGBTQ music piece from the Watertown High School’s spring band concert. The piece titled “A Mother of a Revolution!” was written to honor a 1960s leader in violent pro-LGBTQ uprisings. Members of the board argued that the piece violated their Controversial Issues policy that requires curriculum to not, “indoctrinate or persuade students to a particular point of view.”
We are grateful to see the Watertown school board standing up against the radical indoctrination taking place in public schools across Wisconsin. Students deserve to receive an education untainted by so-called "social justice" campaigns and the radical agendas of progressive teachers.
