When I want to deceive someone about my age, I tell them two honest statements: My birthday is in January. If I live, I will be 92 in January. They marvel at how good I look for 91 years. They believe what is not true because I don't tell them how many years until that particular January. Politicians are particularly adept in this practice.

Parents, do you know what your educational options are in Wisconsin? You should; the education of your child is not anyone else’s responsibility. It is yours.

Wisconsin parents are very fortunate. They have several educational options from which to select a partner to work with them—not in place of them—in the education of their child. For some of the options, the application window closes this month.

The Britannica Dictionary defines compromise as “a way of reaching agreement in which each person or group gives up something that was wanted in order to end an argument or dispute.”

With his veto of the bipartisan Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Modernization Act, Gov. Tony Evers apparently believes compromise means “I demand that you give me everything I want or your side gets absolutely nothing.”

Tuesday’s election brought great news for conservatives looking to enshrine key election reforms into our state constitution. This could not have happened without conservatives voting early and going to the polls on Tuesday.

The Zuckerbucks Amendment passed with 54.5% of the vote. This will ensure greater election integrity by making sure dark money donors like Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg will no longer be able to pass money through third party groups to local governments looking to advantage Democrat turnout in big cities.

For my latest "On the Job" visit, I had the pleasure of working a shift at the South Wood County Humane Society in Wisconsin Rapids.

Since I was first elected to the Wisconsin Senate in 2016, I have regularly spent a day "On the Job" with local employers to get a better understanding of their operations and to highlight the employment opportunities that are available in our area. It also allows me to see how the decisions we make in Madison impact our local communities.

I received President Donald Trump's complete and total endorsement at his rally in Green Bay, Wisconsin, and now Republicans from across the country are rallying around our efforts to support our common goal: taking back the Senate.

The past few days have fueled the fire under our team to ensure we do everything we can to END Senator Tammy Baldwin's political career and give Wisconsin a Senator that represents us — NOT Washington.

Now, not only is Wisconsin counting on me, but President Trump and his army of supporters are counting on me too — I can't let them down.
