Filtering PFAS from Your Drinking Water

There are so many things to fight about in Washington, D.C., but clean drinking water shouldn’t be one of them. The government mandated the use of foams that resulted in PFAS contamination, and it’s the government’s responsibility to clean things up and get PFAS out of drinking water.

Since coming to Congress, I’ve been working to pass measures for PFAS filtration and get the Third District clean drinking water. Most recently, I secured $2 million in Community Project Funding (CPF) in the Fiscal Year 2024 (FY24) Appropriations package for the Town of Campbell to continue developing a safe, long-term municipal water system.

With this funding, we can begin tackling our clean water crisis and get folks the clean, safe drinking water they deserve.
