Hello and welcome to the first ever Schoemann for Governor "Notes from the Trail" newsletter. We'll keep you up to date on Josh's campaign for governor as he travels from Racine to Rice Lake and Platteville to Sturgeon Bay.

It's been about three weeks since Josh announced his campaign in front of 400 friends, family and neighbors in West Bend -- here's what we've been up to:

Barnstorming WI With Statewide Kickoff Tour
In the first few days after announcing his campaign, Josh kicked off a statewide tour with stops in Appleton, Coloma, La Crosse, Eau Claire, Merrill,Aurora, Green Bay, and Milwaukee. Check out highlights from the tour below.

Josh Wins GOP Straw Poll
Grassroots delegates from across the state came together in Wausau for the Republican Party of Wisconsin state convention. Josh won the straw poll for governor -- another sign of the momentum we're building from all corners of the state. Thank you to everyone who attended the convention for your activism. We've got a long way to go in this race and we'll need you every step of the way.
