Tiffany Telegram: March 20, 2026
Many Telegram readers already know that Communist China has been buying up farmland and land near sensitive U.S. military bases.
But a new report reveals an even more alarming trend.
Between April 2024 and March 2025, foreign buyers purchased $56 billion worth of U.S. homes, which is a 33% increase from the year before.
And as you can guess… the top foreign buyer was Communist China.
Chinese buyers accounted for roughly one out of every six foreign home purchases, spending $13.7 billion in 2025 alone.
That should raise serious national security concerns, and it’s part of a bigger pattern.
From exploiting birth tourism loopholes to purchasing land near sensitive sites, Communist China is taking advantage of every opening it can.
Last week, I outlined how Communist China exploits birth tourism, where they use loopholes to secure U.S. citizenship for their children by traveling to U.S. territories, like the Northern Mariana Islands, to give birth. That’s why I introduced the One Nation, One Visa Policy Act to shut down an Obama-era program enabling visa-free travel to U.S. territories. You can read more about that here and here.
But we can’t stop there.
I also joined Rep. Mary Miller (IL-15) in introducing the Protecting Our Farms and Homes from China Act.
This legislation would stop CCP-linked entities from purchasing American farmland and restrict their ability to buy residential property in the United States.
This is about protecting our homeland, defending our national security, and keeping the American Dream in the hands of Americans.
And during National Agriculture Week, we are reminded why that matters. Our farmers rise before dawn, work long hours, and help feed this country. We must continue to protect our farmland and preserve our agricultural heritage for generations to come.
Thanks again for starting your weekend with us. We hope you enjoy this week’s edition of the Tiffany Telegram.
