Domestically, we are experiencing the worst border crisis on record with over 9 million illegal alien crossings since President Biden took office. The open border agenda of the Biden administration has allowed fentanyl to flow into communities, encouraged individuals on the terrorist watchlist to enter the country, and increased violent crimes and attacks on innocent Americans.

SCOTUS Hears Critical Abortion Case

Yesterday, the U.S. Supreme Court heard arguments for the case State of Idaho v. United States, in which Idaho is challenging the Biden administration’s interpretation of a statute known as EMTALA – the Emergency Medical Treatment and Active Labor Act. Idaho’s Attorney General is arguing that the Biden administration has manipulated federal law in order to force ER doctors to perform abortions, which are illegal in Idaho since the Defense of Life Act went into effect with the fall of Roe.

In February, 189,922 illegal aliens were caught crossing the southern border making it the 36th straight month where illegal alien encounters have been higher than any month under the previous administration. Since President Biden took office, over 7.4 million illegal aliens have been encountered at the southern border alone and over 9 million illegal aliens have been encountered nationwide.

Major Wins Against Radical Gender Ideology

This past week, radical gender ideology in the U.S. took a major hit thanks to a national athletic governing body and the U.S. Supreme Court.

The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) became the first national collegiate athletic governing body to ban biological males from competing in women's sports. The NAIA is a collegiate sports organization outside of the NCAA. Eighty percent of the members are private schools including many Christian colleges across America. The NAIA Council of Presidents unanimously approved this landmark decision.

I am honored to receive the endorsement of my friends and neighbors who represent the Third Congressional District Republicans. It is these individuals who supported me to victory two years ago when we flipped this seat together, and I am proud to have received their support again. This week, the House voted on legislation to reauthorize Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA).

This is a tool used by our intelligence agencies to surveil foreigners without a warrant, but it was found that the FBI conducted 3.4 million warrantless searches on Americans in 2021.

That’s over 9,000 warrantless searches a day.

In 2022, there were also 204,000 warrantless searches.

FISA was never meant to turn into Federal Investigators Surveilling Americans.
