In the wake of the horrific murder of Charlie Kirk, there have been thousands of leftists online celebrating his political assassination. Most of these lunatics are interacting with the community in government, education, health care and other industries.

These people have a right to speak their mind, but it’s absurd how they think they can do so without consequence. Imagine being a parent and your child’s teacher is celebrating the murder of conservatives online. As a conservative, how would you feel sending your child into such an environment? Imagine being a conservative patient at a hospital and your nurse is encouraging the killing of Republicans on Facebook. What kind of message does that send?

U.S. Rep. Derrick Van Orden is showing bold, courageous leadership in Congress to stop this madness. He introduced a bill to stop federal funds from going to entities that employ people who condone and celebrate political violence and domestic terrorism. Condoning political violence is wrong, especially if you’re in a position of authority, educating our children, or providing health care to community members.

Thank you Congressman Van Orden for being our voice and standing up for those being vilified simply for their political opinions. There are millions of conservatives hiding in the shadows, hesitant to speak out, thankful for your strong leadership.
