Justice Rebecca Bradley blasts Judge Chris Taylor over opposition to Marsy’s Law
In case you missed it, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel recently laid bare Chris Taylor’s shocking disregard for crime victims, exposing how she voted NO on Marsy’s Law—not once, but TWICE—as a far-left Madison Democrat in the state Legislature in 2017 and 2019. Even worse, Taylor’s own campaign treasurer for her Supreme Court bid was a key player in the legal challenge against this vital victims’ rights amendment, which Wisconsin voters overwhelmingly approved by a staggering 75% margin in 2020.
As the Journal Sentinel reported: “Taylor voted against the measure as a Madison Democrat in the state Legislature in 2017 and 2019. Her campaign treasurer was also among those who took the measure to court before 75% of the voters backed it in 2020.”
Supreme Court Justice Rebecca Bradley didn’t mince words in slamming Taylor’s anti-victim stance: “Her radical political agenda is out of touch with the people of Wisconsin. Taylor would tarnish the Wisconsin Supreme Court with politically driven decisions, and voters cannot trust her to exercise good judgment.”
Chris Taylor has shown her true colors as a wolf in sheep’s clothing—defying the will of 75% of Wisconsinites by opposing commonsense protections for victims and their families. She simply cannot be trusted with a seat on our state’s highest court, where she’d push her extreme agenda at the expense of justice and safety. Wisconsin deserves better: judges who stand with victims and the rule of law, not against them.

The Shot Heard Around Wisconsin?
Is this "blast" from Supreme Court Justice Rebecca Bradley against candidate Chris Taylor "the shot hear around Wisconsin"? I hope so as I have seen nothing indicating that Justice Bradley is running for re-election as her current ten-year term will end in 2026. Justice Bradley is by far the better candidate for Wisconsin's Supreme Court.
The Taylor campaign has already been endorsed by Justices Crawford, Dallet, Karofsky, and Protasiewicz before they even know if there might be a better candidate in the contest. This relationship is just too chummy for what might be five of the seven justices on the Supreme Court. Taylor is also endorsed by Emily's List that strives to elect pro-choice women to office. Taylor is California born, Ivy League educated, a former Public Policy Director for Planned Parenthood of Wisconsin, and a former State Legislator from Dane County.
Let's hope that Justice Rebecca Bradley announces her intentions to seek re-election soon. The deadline for announcing is January 1st and the election is in April.
