Jill Underly and the DPI have shamefully covered up over 200 cases of teachers and staff accused of sexual misconduct and grooming from 2018–2023. Instead of full investigations and public warnings, predators were allowed to quietly surrender licenses and walk free, keeping families and other districts in the dark.

No-Show Jill even skipped a legislative hearing on the scandal to pick up an out-of-state award.

This failure at the top enables local disasters like the one in Oconto Falls. Just this week, three brave former students filed a federal lawsuit exposing a 20-year pattern of grooming, sexual abuse, and cover-ups by teachers and coaches. District leaders ignored complaints, rehired offenders, and protected staff over kids, leaving victims traumatized.

Wisconsin Republicans are demanding real accountability: transparency, immediate reporting, and an end to these dangerous secrets.
