This April 18-25, Wisconsin Family Council, alongside our national partners, is co-hosting America Reads the Bible in Washington, D.C. During this extraordinary event, Christians from across the country will gather to publicly read the Bible from cover to cover in what will be the largest ever read-through-the-Bible event in our nation’s history. Together, we will speak God’s Word in our nation’s capital and invite individuals from across the country to open their hearts to the truth, hope, and life found in Christ.

The purpose of this impactful event is clear and timely: to call all Americans back to the biblical foundation upon which this nation was built and to begin a revival in the hearts of the people. In a cultural moment filled with noise and confusion, America Reads the Bible centers us again on Scripture and unites believers in prayer and joyful obedience to the Lord.

America Reads the Bible is a unique opportunity for Christian leaders to help open the hearts of Americans to the truth of God’s Word. Wisconsin Family Council President Emeritus Julaine Appling and I will be joining the event and reading from God’s Word in Washington, D.C., and we would be honored to have you stand with us.

Invite your pastor, church leaders, family, and friends to join you, and please pray for open doors, receptive hearts, and for the power of God to move across our nation. Mark your calendar for April 18-25 and plan to attend in-person or join via livestream.
