Election Day for the Wisconsin Supreme Court, and other important elections, is Tuesday, April 7. Now is the time to make a plan to vote. In most communities, early in-person voting ends on Thursday, April 2. If you’re able, we encourage you to vote early to avoid lines and any last-minute conflicts that could prevent you from making your voice heard. If early voting isn’t possible for you, please make a plan to vote on Tuesday, April 7.

Complete the following steps to ensure you’re ready to vote:

  • Confirm your voter registration and polling location on myvote.wi.gov.
  • Check early voting dates, hours, and locations for your municipality (they can vary).
  • If you vote on Election Day, decide what time you’ll go and how you’ll get there.
  • Bring a valid photo ID.
  • If you already have an absentee ballot, return it as soon as possible according to local instructions.

Make your plan today and invite a friend or family member to do the same. Every vote matters. Let’s finish early voting strong by Thursday, April 2, or show up faithfully on Election Day.

Today, we also want to recognize the beginning of Holy Week. As we prepare our hearts to reflect on the glorious hope of Christ’s resurrection this Easter Sunday, let us also reflect on His sacrificial death that made a way for mankind to be redeemed to God. Through His sacrifice, we receive forgiveness for our sins, reconciliation with God, freedom from guilt and shame, and the living hope that flows from the empty tomb.

Praise God, He didn’t remain in the grave, but rather, He conquered death, ensuring that because He lives, we too shall live. He is risen! He is risen indeed! Happy Easter!
