Drag Queens in Sparta?

There is a new business just getting started in Sparta called the Sparta Soda Works. The owner remodeled the old police station, and it appears that it could have been a great business in the community.

It has been brought to my attention that they will be hosting the Soda Works Drag Brunch on SUN, AUG 6 -- that is where I say hmmm . . . and it is open to all ages. Just like Drag Queen story hours in the library, this kind of behavior is not appropriate for kids and is another attempt to normalize deviant behavior in a failing society.

Children are impressionable and trusting. Militant transgender advocates are imposing their agenda with uncompromising zeal on schoolchildren. Gender dysphoria is a rare medical condition that makes people feel mismatched with their sexual anatomy. Inappropriate and sexually explicit books are infiltrating our schools. Just this week, a far-left “The Young Turks” co-host admitted that life-altering gender treatments for children are irreversible.

We must stand up for our children that are being groomed and exposed to misguided sexual behaviors. When will Sparta hold its first “minor-attracted persons” brunch or story hour?

God said in 2 Chronicles 7:14,

“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

Please talk to your religious leaders, priests, pastors, and ministers. Encourage them to stand up and speak out against these evils. Love, protect, and watch over your children.

Normally, I support all new businesses, but I just cannot support Sparta Soda Works. By the way, the owners also own the Beer Shop on Wisconsin Ave in Sparta. How do you spell Bud Light or Target?

Where is Child Protective Services???!!

Sparta - the Bicycling Capital of America - already has a little bit of everything. It has business and industry. It has coffee shops and places to "wet your whistle" later in the day. It has a vibrant main street (Water Street) and downtown area. It has a good school district certainly on the rebound after some dark days about a year and a half ago. It is a tourist stop with the bike trails, antique shops, restaurants, many other businesses and two exits off the Interstate. It boasts one of the bigger and better parades in the Coulee Region with the recent Butterfest Parade and lots of other community family activities too. With Fort McCoy, it even has a world class military training facility that makes a great economic impact as a good neighbor.
Yes, Sparta has a little bit of everything without drag queens coming to town. Voice your opinion but please be kind, courteous, and polite. Together maybe we can have an impact for not only Sparta, but Monroe County and the Coulee Region as well.
