Draw Your District, Wisconsin!

The Biden Administration has finally released the data from the 2020 Census after dragging their feet for months. Soon we will begin the robust map drawing process and I’m confident we will draw a map that the governor will sign.

The legislature announced a website for the public to participate in the map drawing process. Any Wisconsin resident can submit a statewide map, regional plan, or community of interest to the legislature.

Submission dates are September 1, 2021 to October 15, 2021.

The legislature has the right to do this, and do it as they are authorized to do. But then please have the students who are away at College vote in the place where their drivers license says they live, not at the district their college is. If they want to vote from the community that the college is in, then become a legal resident of that community, otherwise vote at home.
