Sign WFA’s Petition to Protect Kids Today
The Wisconsin Assembly and Senatehave passed critical child-protection legislation that requires pornographic websites to confirm users’ ages through a simple ID verification process to prevent minors from accessing the site. The bill received overwhelming bipartisan support and will now go to Governor Evers’ desk where he can either sign it into law or veto it. To help ensure the bill is signed into law, Wisconsin Family Action has created a petition urging Governor Evers to sign the legislation.
Why this matters:
- Age-verification laws protect children. Easy, anonymous access to explicit content online is harming kids. Early exposure can inflict lasting psychological damage, distort healthy development, and undermine future relationships.
- Age-verification laws strengthen families and marriages. Guarding children from porn’s harmful influence supports parents, and promotes healthy expectations and respect for future relationships.
- The pornography lobby, Free Speech Coalition, has launched their own public awareness campaign in opposition to this legislation. They are worried that the result of protecting children from pornography will result in lower profits from people accessing pornography.
This is a pivotal moment in our state. When we protect kids today, we lay a healthier foundation for tomorrow’s husbands, wives, moms, and dads. The legislature has done its part. Now it’s time for the governor to do his.
Help us protect the future of the next generation. Every signature sends a clear, respectful message: Wisconsin stands with parents and kids.
The decision could come at any time, so please don’t wait. It takes just a minute to make your voice heard on behalf of Wisconsin’s children.
Sign the petition HERE. When you’re done, please forward this email or share the link with others on social media.
Thank you for standing with us to protect kids, support parents, and strengthen Wisconsin families. Together, we can help secure a safer online environment and a brighter future for the next generation.

Is this going to work?
I agree 100 percent with this, and will sign the petition, but can it work? I want some teeth in the prosecution for the assault when children are exposed to this. I believe in Freedom of Speech, until you destroy a child, then I don't. We are so mean to our young people when we don't protect them.
